Meet and chat with Teryl Magee, instructional coach with Knox County School District in Tennessee, and find out why she earned a spot on the NSBA's "20 to Watch" list of education technology leaders. Teryl will share and discuss her perspectives on the role of technology in the classroom.

Science and Math Alive: Raising Student Motivation Through Collaborative Projects

Adina Popa, of Virginia's Steuart Weller Elementary, discusses the ways her school and four others around the country used technology to put a project-based spin on science and math instruction. She'll highlight the use of videoconferencing, blogs, and email facilitated international student collaboration on problem-solving and virtual competitions.

Perspectives of Our "Flat World": Ed Tech Lessons Learned From China

BrainPOP's Dr. Kari Stubbs, Ph.D., director of 21st Century Learning, joins a roundtable discussion about the relationship between globalization and education technology. Participatants will share perspectives from a recent trip to China -- through the People to People Citizen Ambassadors Program -- where they were able to observe teachers and students in action and converse with Chinese teachers and head masters.
