Thank you for this webinar! I am an instructional aide, so while I do not have a direct hand in the lessons being taught, I am able to study with the students that I interact with on a day-to-day basis. I was never given any formal training with BrainPop resources so these webinars are most helpful. I’m excited to try the reveal features on the IWB (my school uses Promethean boards) and also the screen captures. I also plan to spend some time on the IWB resource webpage to see what features I can use there and see if the teachers I work with know about this page.

So glad you found the webinar useful. The integration with Promethian active votes is really nicely designed. In addition to the resources we have on BrainPOP Educators, check out Promethian Planet too.

I found this webinar, my first one, most informative. I use Promethean and most of students are very visual and hands on learners. This can only reinforce the impact of my future Science lessons (grade 9).The presentation was very clear.

Magic Paper! Excellent! Magic erase! Even better! All of Mike’s ideas were amazing! The one thing that stood out to me, though, was that whatever visual you are using, be sure to remain consistent with the images. Whether young or old, students can get confused if we give them too much to focus on visually. The interactive white board can really be an amazing tool! I am looking forward to using it to enhance my lessons! Thank you for the wonderful information!

Oh my gosh! I’m a total BrainPop Webinar junkie now, after participating in the Kerpoof/BP webinar this past week. After watching this webinar today, I feel like I will be able to do so much more than just powerpoints and interactive games with my smartboard and class! I can’t wait to really get into the Smart software and try out some of these different reveals! Fabulous! Plus, Mike drew me in instantly as I graduated from Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington, IL…and taught my 1st 3 years in Unit 5 at Northpoint Elementary in B-N! Excellent presentation–learned so much! Thank you, Mike and BrainPop!

This was one of the most helpful webinars I have ever participated in! I thought I knew my way around my SmartBoard but this has taught me so much more. Mike had some really great ideas for how to use the IWB in new ways. I cannot wait to start using these new techniques, especially magic paper and move to reveal.

I viewed this webinar from the archive section thanks to the help of Jessica Storer. I am excited to see the new images and backgrounds that are not available on Promethean Planet and can’t wait to incorporate them into my lessons! I liked the suggestions on other ways to use the BrainPop quizzes as well. Thank You!

I have just started to use the Smartboard technology and am still pretty new to all of the different features that it offers. I fould this webinar to be very helpful because it made me aware of several things that I did not even realize the Smartboard could do. I had no idea that you could animate pictures and images, and I look forward to trying this as a way to make my lesson presentations more interesting for students. Also, I am excited to try using the “image fill” option of the fill effects. I the past, I have always hidden answers to questions by creating a shape and putting the shape on top of the answer. Being able to hide an image inside a shape will add an interesting twist to my next lesson. Thank you so much for offering this webinar. Brainpop offers so many resources for teachers, and is always a hit with the students! :)

I am new to the board, so this webinar along with the printable power point will be very helpful to take back to my classroom and share with my colleagues.

I liked the use of the vocabulary eraser reveal on the screen capture of brainpop vids.
Mike was dead on about remaining consistant with images when it comes to time for any kind of assessment. Easy to forget that.

This webinar was incredibly informative. I liked the magic paper idea. Additionally, I think that using BrainPop clipart is a great way to infuse other aspects of teaching with BrainPop. (My students LOVE the BrainPop characters!)
