Thanks for a great intro to Brainpop! I am a preschool teacher and our school has a subscription but I have not used it much. After this I have a good idea on where to start. I like the videos and the lesson plans that go with them. They seem like they will be easy to adapt to a preschool level.

This was my first webinar with BrainPop and I found the website and all that it can offer very interesting and exciting. I would love to start using this technology in my classroom. I am a foreign language teacher, however, and I didn’t see anything about teaching language except for ESL. It seems like this format would be ideal for use in a world language class to further the communicative skills and even culture. I wonder if BrainPop is considering branching out into world languages.

I loved the webinar, and all of the information given to me as a newbie! I have many ideas of how I can put BrainPOP to good use in my classroom, using a Mimio! It loved the fact that so many teachers from different areas of the country were represented, and that all had fresh ideas and insight to share. Thank you!

I work as a paraprofessional aide in a special needs classroom. We’ve been using BrainPOP and BrainPOP Jr. in our classroom for some time now, without any formal introduction. This webinar gave me so many new ideas. Since we have a small class, the 4 corners quiz game would be perfect for us! I took extensive notes and can’t wait to share it with my teacher. Thank you!

Although I have viewed several webinars in BrainPOP, I still consider myself a “newbie.” :-) I feel I learn something new each time I use the BrainPOP website. This webinar introduced me to several things that I didn’t know already. I had never heard of the Spotlight section before now. I really like the fact that the topics are listed well in advance so that I can plan lessons well in advance to use the site. Also, I appreciate that there is Funding support through this website. When the facilitator said that she was able to get a television (in the days before interactive whiteboards :-) ), I started thinking about the needs for my classroom and how I could use BrainPOP to get those items. My favorite part of the webinar, however, was the introduction to the Graphic Organizers! I love graphic organizers! The fact that they can all be printed and typed in made my day! BrainPOP is amazing! Thank you so much for this information!

I appreciate the archived webinars so much. Last night I watched this (even though I have used BrainPOP a few times before). It was so helpful to be reminded of some of the basics that BrainPOP offers — such as graphic organizers. Thanks BrainPOP for being a useful teacher resource!

Great webinar! I didn’t know that students could take the quizzes on their own and email me test results! Exciting new assessment!

@Leslies1, it’s true. Also, if you are a google apps for education school, you can capture quiz results right into a google spreadsheet. More about this on next weeks webinar, 5:30EDT on March 21st!

This webinar was helpful in understanding how to navigate around and utilize many BrainPop resources. I’m looking forward to use the movies with vocabulary, activities and quizzes. Thank you.

Thank you for putting archived seminars on the computer as I am not able to watch them at 4:30. This way I can watch them in my free time! Our school has a subscription for school and home. Learning how to use more than just the videos was nice and I am excited to use it in our classrooms. Thanks!

I watched the archive of this video. I have been using Brainpop in my first grade classroom for a while now, but never knew all the great other things I could do other than the movies and quizzes! I really love the flash cards!!! I do have clickers and noticed Allisyn say you have to have them registered to use them. How do I register my clickers? Thanks for a great webinar!!!

I just finished watching the archived webinar and am so glad that this is available to those of us who can’t make the live one because of scheduling conflict. Our school has a subscription for school and home and I am excited to not only use it in our classrooms, but to teach the students how to use it at home. There are so many different ways to enhance our teaching and help the students too. I am looking forward to attending more webinars to learn more. THANK YOU!

I really enjoyed the webinar Wednesday and will pursue a subscription for our staff for next year…I can really see tons of applications, especially the ability to search by state and standards!
    Thank you!

Thank you for the great information from yesterday’s webinar. I think there are a lot of useful tools I can use in my 2nd grade classroom. I look forward to exploring some of the free resources to help make a decision whether to purchase. Thanks!

I found this webinar so useful, I’m not a technology person, besides, being new to Brain Pop and this was so useful for me. Is now four month before my internship K-12 ESE, ESOL, and REGULAR kids, I’m so motivated. The time of the year’s relevant movies, organized by topics, standards with lesson plans and quizzes where kids are self evaluated, which enhance their academic process and teacher energy and time. So grateful I have no words. Thank YOU

I enjoyed the webinar today. I have never participated in one before. I would be interested in knowing more about using the clickers for answering questions. My students really enjoy the videos. I try to incorporate them into my lessons as much as I can. Thanks again!

Thank you for the great Webinar. I am fairily new to BrainPop. I have only used the videos, and now I know that there are a lot more things to do. I love the calendar (under the planning section). I teach Kindergarten and would love to see BrainPop Jr. as developed as BrainPop. Thanks again.

Today’s “New to Brainpop” webinar was my first, and I totally loved it! I work w/students from grades one-through-four, and of all levels of performance, so I need something readily accessible, interactive, and with lots of language-basing to use with them all. Brainpop has me so excited … I can’t wait to start using it with my students. (I’m a speech-language pathologist in the public schools, and having visuals, vocabulary w/’pause/discuss’ features, and especially the ‘Belly Up’ comic feature w/the ‘speech bubbles’ is going to make my work with kids and their time w/me not only fun, but effective. Thank you, I will take future webinars as well.

Thank you so much for showing all your favorite places on the BrainPop websites. I really enjoyed the information on funding because I work at a small Early Learning Center where all the money comes from my owners pockets or my own. I am so glad I tuned in for this webinar because I thought this website was off limits unless you had a subscription. I first used this website under a trial and thought I was done until I paid a subscription. Thank you again!

I appreciate the curriculum calendar on the BP Educators site. I am going to be using this next week. I also like the Jr. add ons for comics, jokes, and the word wall. I am looking into purchasing subscription for my class or for the computer lab. This webinar was very informative! Thank you.

Thanks for all the information. I was excited to find out that all the graphic organizers and other resources can be typed on and then printed out. I like the idea of doing the work together as a class and then printing out the information for the students to keep as notes!

Loved the webinar. Cant wait for the ESL one coming up. I learned a great deal as a newbie to using BrainPOP. I still want to dress up as moby for my students on one of our reading event days. They would go gaga over it.
