Share Your Voice in the Horizon K12 Edition!

Posted by cemignano on

You may already know that our Dr. Kari Stubbs, Vice President of 21st Century Learning, represents BrainPOP on the Horizon K12 board. Now, it’s your turn to share your voice there. The organization, which publishes an annual research-based report on emerging educational technology, has officially opened the call for entries from educators seeking inclusion in its next edition.

The Horizon K12 board is eager to hear about the research, pilot programs, innovative projects, or faculty work you’ve implemented within your school district.  (Perhaps you’ve found an exciting and innovative way to integrate BrainPOP!)  This year’s report will encompass six areas: mobiles and apps, tablet computing, game-based learning, personal learning environments, augmented reality, and natural user interfaces. For more details on each area, check out the NMC Horizon Report: 2012 K12 Edition Preview.

The submission process is easy!  All you need to submit is a title, URL, and one- or two-sentence description of your project. Then, choose one of the six areas mentioned above as a descriptor.  If you’re interested in spreading the word about your inspiring work, be sure to submit your example by Monday, April 16.
