I just watched the webinar and it was not my first but each time I pick up on something new. I love that the letters are used from “real kids”. and on BrainPOP Jr I like the Belly Up comics and being able to print the cards on the word wall! Thanks!

Before this webinar I just used the movies and online quizzes to introduce topics to my kids. Now I have a lot more ideas to use brainpop jr with my class.

I learned a lot about the BrainPop resources. I really enjoyed the stuff shown about bacteria. There are quizzes, movies, activities, games, states standard search, and write about it activities. Great resources for both students and teachers.

Being new to BrainPOP, I found this webinar to be very useful and the tools I have learned will be great to use in the classroom. There is so much on this website that will help me be a better teacher and make me more effective in the classroom. These resources will be enjoyed by my students for sure.

    Hi,
I just watched this webinar. Thank you for keeping them around for us to view at our convenience. I am creating new technology lessons for 2012 – 2013 and plan to use your website. My district has purchased both Brainpop and Brainpop jr.
I will be at ISTE next week. I will come by and say “HI” Will Moby be there? I would like to get a picture with him?

    See you soon,
    Aggie

I am a Pre-K teacher in New York. I use BrainPopjr. as part of my science, math, social studies lessons all the time. With a lot of the writing prompts, I have the children draw their answers. My students LOVE the quizzes! Because they are 4 yrs. old, I did not think to explore Brainpop. But after watching Carrie explain all that is available there, I think I might use both. Even though I have been using this sight, I did not realize all the standards info that is available. Thank you!

This was my first webinar and I found it to be very informative! I have used Brainpop Jr. in the elementary classroom but have recently moved to virtual education. I didn’t realize how much is available for older students! I love that you can search for movies by spi’s! I can’t wait to learn more!

I enjoyed the overview of what BrainPOP and BrainPOP Jr. have to offer. I was very excited that it is so whiteboard friendly, particularly Promethean friendly as that is what I have in my classroom. I have used the free videos and others on occasion when doing a free trial. This year our school has considered purchasing a subscription. I am so happy you offered this webinar as it was a nice refresher on what the site can be used for in the classroom and at home.

    I found your resource tips:
1.Answers to activity pages most use full, as I always have graded my students work with out reference to them.
2.Your graphic organizer library and the ability for students to type on those activity pages.
3.Last but not least your lesson plans. I usually write my own, but at times I find it important to have a reference to a particular game or lesson you have posted.
    Thank you,
    William

Ken and I really enjoyed the Webinar today. We had used BrainPOP in the classroom a few times before, but now we will be using it regularly. I had no idea that BrainPOP covered so many subject areas. It was very helpful to learn about how BrainPOP aligns itself with each state’s standards.

My first webinar and it was great. I use BrainPop in my Essential Knowledge quiz answers but have not yet extended the information on the movies. I like the FYI section that you pointed out. I think this will give me a vehicle to continue the lesson as homework.

    Thanks Andy
