Whether you’re a new or veteran BrainPOP user, you’ll leave this webinar feeling refreshed and ready for school.
I really enjoyed this recording. I had no idea Brainpop offered so much professional development. I already use Brainpop jr. in my classroom and I love it. I am looking forward to more informative webinars.
I really enjoyed watching the recording of this. It was nice to get a overview
Thank you. Please, keep adding art lessons! We really enjoy them!!
Hi I enjoyed the webinar. I was glad to learn that BrainPop is matched up with the common core standards. Could you please consider making Brainpop for grades k-4 instead of K-3 and adding a little more to it. I like the way you use a robot and a little girl to answer the questions. You make it enjoyable to watch without making it silly. Olg317
This was a great training for anyone who is new to BrainPop. There are so many great resources for students like movies, quizzes, activities, experiments, Q&A, FYI, and Game-up. It aslo showed the different resources for BrainPop Jr.
Picked up ideas both from Carrie and from the other webinar attendees in their comments as we progressed through the hour. Our district announced our subscription about half way through the school year, so I only used to a limited extent. But even with little familiarity, I found it filled with easy interfaces and lots of great ‘kid grabbers.’ I am looking forward to using the new game interface with our reluctant learners!
Enjoyed the webinar. Have used it in my classroom
and the children love it. Iti is engaging and
correlates with lessons and core curriculim standards.

I really appreciate BrainPOP offering free opportunities to use the program, although limited. With financial limitations on resources that are available in some school districts, this free option helps to work to close the gap the digital divide creates.
I use whatever I can to help my students use instructional technology to help them become more accomplished learners.
There are so many resources, for both students and teachers alike! My school had a subscription most of last year, and I am ashamed to say that I barely utilized it. No more!
Thank you, Carrie. I am very excited to use BrainPop in my school this year. I am very fortunate to have colleagues who have used BrainPop before…let the sharing begin!

I am starting as a K-5 Computer Lab Facilitator in the fall so this overview was especially helpful.
I was very excited to find all the different options you have on Brainpop Jr.!I am thrilled to see all the short movies and the related resources. I plan to jump on the Brainpop bandwagon this year.
I have been an active user of BrainPop approximately six years. Yesterday’s brush up introduced many ideas I did not realize were avaiable. The webinar was a great tool and look forward to joining webinars in the future.
Loved the webinar, Carrie was of great help.
The resources available are amazing and I love
the page lay out and contents.
Thanks for the support!
Thank you for a great webinar. I look forward to using new features I learned about! Thank you.
Brush up on Brain POP was a great webinar.Like most of my colleagues mentioned the States Standard alignments were a big success. I am also glad to learn about the educator site and in the process of getting funding for the fantastic resource!
Great timing, our district purchased this opportunity for us and I was thrilled with today’s webinar. I have been working my way through the website and it’s going to be very helpful.
Thanks
enjoyed the webinar … didn’t know brainpop offered so much – I’ll be back – thank you
I truly enjoyed the webinar!! I have just purchased a subscription of BrainPop to use in my classroom this year, and I am so excited about getting to incorporate technology into my lessons! I think that this program will “Hook” my 5th graders into the lesson. Classes start Monday! Have a wonderful year!!! Ann
Really enjoyed the Webinar. It was an excellent overview–an hour well spent.
This was a wonderful webinar. Carrie was very professional and very knowledgeable. I have used Brain Pop and BPjr for the last two years but did not fully utilize all of the features. I am excited to explore the link between the movies and the Common Core Standards.
As the LMS at my school (New position for me!)I intend to incorporate more activities from BP in my program but I also intend to hold a workshop to let my faculty know what BP has to offer! There are so many resources here in the Educator section that I know my faculty is not fully aware of for integration!
Thanks so much!
I really appreciated the webinar. I loved that we can see the “Common Core” standards that relate to the lessons. I love that we could use the “Easy” quiz as a pretest and then the students could take the quiz online and either email or print out. I am wondering, since I am brand new to the program, if the students have a place to write their names and class on the quizes for the hard copy? We will have the students sign in on one username and password for the school. The school owns an old “learning response sys” and I’m not sure we could use it with the program. (We use Smart Boards) but I would be very interested in learning to poll the students individually and having a record of their responses. I look forward to checking out the topics and checking out for other webinars. Special thanks to Carrie for her patience and professionalism!
Thanks,
ME Kane
Great webinar! I’ve been using Brainpop and Jr. for three years but you mentioned features that I haven’t been using. I will access the Educators Blog and Lesson Plan ideas. I plan on using the Election Spotlight. I usually have students (grades 3-5) take the online quiz and then we review the answers on the Smartboard together. I was surprised that the Games were linked to standards. I will now use that feature too. Thank you.
I have not used brainpop educators, so the information presented today was great. I will visit this site often.
Great webinar! I just started with Brain Pop and this really showed me what was available and how to navigate the sight.
Thanks.
I used BP for the first time last year, but had not explored all the great features such as the graphic organizers. Will definitely use them this year as well as looking up the CCSS which I was also unaware of. Thanks a bunch!

I am very excited about what I learned during today’s webinar and have just registered for two more. I am a BrainPOP subscriber and have explored BrainPOP on my own with success but found I was getting stuck using it in a certain way. I am now inspired to take fuller advantage of this resource, one I was already a resource that I highly recommend. I had been reluctant to explore GameUp but this is no longer the case, and am also eager to try some of the activities that I had overlooked. Something as simple as the comic – I had not looked at before but it was pointed out that one could also white out the joke and ask the kids to make their own joke. Great webinar today, thank you.
I greatly enjoyed the BrainPOP webinar, Brush up on BrainPOP. For me it was really a preview. We signed up for a trial period, but five days can go so quickly that we completely missed out after the first day. However, homeschool starts now, so we will take full advantage of the trial this week. However, based on the webinar, I believe Brainpop is a must have!
My favorite feature, I think, is Annie. She isn’t just the voice of the pages but is relatable, particularly for my five year old girl.
As the facilitator, I especially liked the availability of planning tools and the paths to learning that are provided and are easy to follow.
I also had at least one idea during the webinar. The pages are set out such that all of the items related to a video are on the same page, so when we plan a lesson, while previewing and planning, I can capture, number the sequence of activities, and then print that for my child so that she has a numbered path to follow as she works through a lesson.
Thank you!
I look forward to more live sessions.
Hi Carrie,
What a great review for me! I use Brain Pop in my Health classes and also in my tutorial reading groups.
You showed me some neews things I wasn’t aware of like closed captioning, lesson plans, bellyup comic, and grants.
Thanks so much!

Very helpful webinar! Thank you.
I haven’t used Brain Pop before & this session is perfect for a QUICK review of all the resources available & good tips were provided on how to use things in the classroom. I liked that a former teacher was the presenter, too. Common Core State Standards have also been incorporated into the site. Love it! I look forward to using it in my new classroom.
Thanks so much, Caroline! I didn’t know about the state standards and all the free stuff I can use to extend student learning at home!
I love Brainpop and am so thankful for this awesome resource!
This Brush Up on BrainPop webinar was a great introduction to using BrainPop in an elementary classroom. It was very nice to see that you can search for topics by clicking on the Common Core standards link. I also liked the presenter’s suggestion to print a quiz before starting a unit to have students show what they know ahead of time. I was not familiar with Activotes before this webinar. The only thing that was kind of difficult about the webinar was the website screen scrolling – it was a little hard to follow. Overall, I really appreciated this chance to learn about BrainPop!
We are currently looking into buying Brainpop Jr for our entire school. It is a Prek-1st campus with about 700 students. I am so glad that you offered this webinar so that I could get more informed to share with our teachers. Thank you.
Becky
My first webinar was great and easy. I work with special needs students in an ABA program so I am interested in learning ways to incorporate this in my class. Thanks for all the info!
Great review. Love the games. There seems to be a shortage of ELA topics however.
Hey, that was a really great webinar — thanks! I have used BP quite a bit over the past few years but, like the moderator, I also have to admit to using just the videos and accompanying quizzes. But I’ll definitely use some of the other resources (Activity page, vocab, graphic organizers). Thanks again!
I really enjoyed this session! I will definately be using a lot of your activities with my grade 2/3 class this year. I love how you can watch a movie and then have the students complete a quiz. Should get them motivated to pay attention. Thanks again!
I appreciate the variety of lesson topics and activity ideas.
Great webinar! I love that you have so many music education resources. The content standards cross-referencing is great, too. Looking forward to using BrainPOP during the school year.
This webinar was helpful and reminded me of all the wonderful tools brainpop has! I plan to use brainpop in my classroom on a regular basis. I did not know about the lesson plans so I am looking forward to checking those out. THanks.

I learned so many other things (activities, word walls, etc.) that I didn’t realize were there; I’m excited about using them this coming year.
Thanks a lot for the webinar! I’m going to have to check out the educators part more. I love BrainPop and use it almost every day. Can’t wait to get into the lesson plans. Thanks again!
Thanks so much for the informative webinar, as a new user of Brainpop, it was a valuable resource, and I anticipate Brainpop making my job as Homeschool teacher much more pleasant and simple!
Carrie, great job with the webinar today. Sorry the technology did not want to cooperate! Even being a seasoned BP user, I learned several useful tips. I can now print out the notebook questions from BP Jr. I’m also now more familiar with the bulletin board and BP Educators, which will be a great help.
Thanks so much for your time!!
Holly
Thank you for a great webinar. This was a great refresher so that I am prepared for the start of the school year. I am very appreciative that you offer these webinars for free and in the summer!
The webinar “Brush Up On Brain Pop” was very helpful because it allowed me to find more resources to use in the classroom. I especially like that you can look for resources by the Common Core Standards. I also like that you can find games and lesson plans to coincide with the movie or featured skill you want to teach.
Hi! Enjoyed the webinar. I am excited because it is the first year I have a subscription; before that I used the freebies.
This was very helpful to see the many resources actually pointed out (with a pointer) so I can now find them. Wonderful supplemental resources are now on the BrainPOP website! I only wish my school district could afford a district subscription.
Thanks for the webinar today! I didn’t know about all the graphic organizers available and liked learning about them.
Great webinar. I used BrainPop Jr. in my classroom last year, but didn’t know all the features of the site. I’m looking forward to using these additional features this year.
This webinar was extremely informative. Carrie Mignano was so helpful and was very patient with the technology when it did not work at times! I have used BrainPOP and BrainPOP Jr. in the past for my student teaching experiences. However, I was introduced to many new resources that I did not know were available. I also did not hear about BrainPOP Educators until this webinar, and I cannot wait to implement it this upcoming school year!
This was great to review before school starts. Glad to learn about the Common Core availability and also the section on games and word wall.
Thanks so much!!
