Although I have used the Social Studies videos with quizzes for a couple of years, I really had no idea of the other capabilities offered by BrainPOP. I was especially impressed with the Timeline, Lesson Plans & Teaching Tools, and the Quiz Mixer. When time permits, I intend to watch the Game Up webinar and learn more about game based learning.

I knew a little bit about the quizzes on Brainpop, but I didn’t realize that you could mix it up. Andrew did a great job of explaining everything. Thanks.

I am somewhat familar with the website, but unfamilar with all the resources and how to include them in a lesson. Attending the webinar was a learning experience. Andrew’s explanation of each feature allowed me to brainstorm how I would use them in my lesson planning.

This webinar truly impressed me because the game session has on closed captioning. I am so excited about this because it is very important that the students can read all the time. The closed captioning is reading reinforcement and notetaking. It is an awesome inferencing activity.

I love the kids can take the quiz online, or I can print it. I love the chatrooms and sharing of lessons. I am SO excited the kids don’t need to login to play the games. I am DEF taking the games webinar next week, and can’t wait to teach this to my colleagues!!! THANK YOU!

It really helped to have someone specifically show me where to go within Brain POP. It is such a vast product but Andrew helped narrow it down a bit to be more manageable and useful for me. I found several things that would apply to specific teachers who may not be taking advantage of this great product such as Game Up and the Mixer. Thanks!
