Webinar Alert: Get It: iOS Accessibility
Wednesday, January 30th at 3:30 PM ET- Get It: iOS Accessibility
We welcome Leslie Schecht, Director of Technology for Special Education District 75 in New York City, for a look at the iOS platform’s accessibility features. See how Leslie uses technology to provide educational, vocational, and behavior support for students who are on the autism spectrum; have significant cognitive delays; are severely emotionally challenged or sensory impaired; or are disabled in other ways. You can follow Leslie, an Apple Distinguished Educator, on Twitter: @techdiva. Her district’s innovative use of technology was recently profiled in Fast Company magazine!
Thanks for another great webinar. There was a lot of valuable information that I look forward to using in the the very near future. Keep up the excellent work!
There are so many great applications to use with iOs for special needs students. iBooks is a great app to use in the classroom. There are also alot of music apps.
Thanks so much for this webinar. I never knew there were programs like this available. I am an paraprofessional/clerical aid and I am getting my degree in special education so I am very interested. I would love to find out how I could go about finding a job in this field, because I have been thinking about working with austistic adults when I finish school. I have even thought about starting my own non-profit austistic housing/community. Any suggestions on how to take this path would be great!
Thanks again

I have been to many webinars and I must say this is one not to miss! So much information, thank you Andrew and Leslie. The information in this webinar is something I can take back to my classroom and impliment right away. The numerous examples of how to use this technology and what type of students it can reach is marvelous. I will be back to see what else I can learn and pass on to my school and students.
Great Webinar! Thanks for sharing all the useful sites and information that can help better incorporate iOS for students with special needs. I look forward to other great webinars! They are very informative
Thanks for the info. I will pass on the music applications to the music department and I will definitely use iBooks!
