I cannot believe that when the president of the United States encourages youths to stay in school, try their best, and work hard that anyone has a problem with that. The department of education provided additional resources if teachers wanted to take the speech to another level and didn't have the time or gumption to prepare a lesson plan for it. Their was no political agenda. If you are homeschooling your child, then I believe it would be important to teach controversial topics as well. Let the kids then analyze the speech and take home a positive message. Keep it up BrainPOP!

The president's speech is an extremely controversial topic and especially so in the homeschooling community. We use Brainpop for several subjects in our own homeschool and I'm very disappointed you would not consider this controversy before promoting the speech. I might have to re-think my continued subscription.
