Proper Headings & Graded Quizzes – New Developments!
How many times do you have to ask students to remember to put their names and dates on all of their work? We recently received a request to add fields for student names and dates on our typeable Activity Pages. Voila! Thanks to a fantastic production team, students now have the option of typing in their names before printing. Wait. It gets better! The date is automatically filled in.
We also upgraded our printed quiz. Now, when students print their completed quizzes, an X appears over any incorrect answers and it’s easier to distinguish the right answer from the wrong answer. This will show up whether you are using a B&W or color printer.
Special thanks to Darryl Joyner of Arlington, VA for the great suggestions!

Regarding online quizzes. Is it possible to stop students ability to cross out answers until they find the correct answer. We are having problems with students just making each answer which x’s out that possible answer until they find the correct response.
Thanks
Mike
Also regarding online quizzes: We would like to be able to print an answer key for the quizzes. Sometimes we cannot get in the computer lab to take the quiz online.
Hey Michael & Debra. Thanks for your comments.
You can have students take the Graded Quiz, which goes through all 10 questions and gives students a score at the end (as opposed to the Review Quiz, where students don’t go on to the next question until they find the right answer.
As far as answer keys, we feel that since we often revise quizzes, it would most likely be more frustrating than it’s worth for teachers to print out answer keys that may change. We do have answer keys for the Activity Pages, though.
