We are interested in learning about any kind of research, pilot programs, innovative projects, or other work happening at your school, or at schools you know about, in any of the six areas listed below. Our goal is to help readers understand the potential impact of these technologies and their applications on teaching, learning, or creative inquiry.
We hope to have your examples by Monday, March 15, but no matter what, we’d love to hear about what you are doing! All we really need is a sentence of description and a URL — we’ll do the rest.

Building Cultural Bridges through Digital Games
Through BrainPOPJr., our K-2 students participate in a game-like environment in which we introduce, reinforce or test a topic. However, reason number one for choosing this digital game resource in our school is to bridge cultural divides. In our efforts to reach all children, we want to create a sense of community by allowing our students to learn new concepts or apply their skills, while they meet and make new friends. It will also give teachers an accessible structure for having the important academic and social discussions we need to have in order to truly become an inclusive community.
Educators of Influence:
Receiving and Offering Professional Development
Through this project, teachers participate in in-house and online collaborations, allowing for expansion of their professional development endeavors. At this point in history, we are not arguing whether or not technology should be used; it is here to stay, and therefore we need to transforms education into a 21st Century endeavor. The resources our school provides need to be implemented in the curriculum and aligned to the state standards. Through our face-to-face meetings and through BrainPOP Educators collaborations, we are able to accomplish just that.
