Ice Age

Brr! In this BrainPOP movie, Tim and Moby introduce you to the deep freeze of Earth’s ice ages. You’ll learn the difference between an ice age and a glaciation, what an interglacial period is, and how alligators could live in the Arctic! You’ll also meet some of the giant mammals that roamed the Earth during the last ice age, like the woolly mammoth and the giant sloth. Find out the ways that scientists can study ice ages, as well as how giant sheets of ice changed the shape of the Earth. Finally, you’ll learn about the factors that influence when ice ages begin and end. Ice has never been so cool!
