The flu, cold sores, chicken pox - all these ailments, and plenty more, are caused by viruses. But what, exactly, is a virus, and how does it make you sick? In this BrainPOP movie on viruses, Tim and Moby explain how these tiny particles hijack your body’s cells, reproducing copies of themselves and giving you an infection.
