Educator Resources for Quandary
In the game Quandary, students must make difficult decisions where there are no clear right or wrong answers but important consequences – to themselves, to others in the colony, and to the fictional planet Braxos. Students will need to analyze issues from multiple perspectives, distinguish fact from opinion, and weigh evidence while judging potential solutions. As students evaluate the claims and arguments that characters make, they’ll need to validate their reasoning and ensure that the evidence they present is relevant. This game has been mapped to many Common Core State Standards for reading and speaking & listening.
