Educator Resources for Share Jumper
Understanding online privacy is a key skill for any good digital citizen! With Share Jumper, students reflect on the benefits of sharing online, while acknowledging that information can spread fast and far. They’ll also learn to classify information that should be kept private online, and predict the effect that an online post or message might have on someone’s reputation. Students are also reminded that nothing is truly “private” or “erasable” online.

Grades: 3-8
In this lesson plan which is adaptable for grades 3-8, students use BrainPOP resources (including a free online game) to practice identifying information that should and should not be shared online.
