We’re constantly expanding BrainPOP Jr. and we add several new topics each month. What topics would you like us to cover next? Example: Mammals

I’d love to see a movie on Symmetry!

Though we don’t have a BrainPop Jr. movie on symmetry, there is a BrainPOP topic page on transformation. Useful for helping build understanding of tessellations!

Now that we need to integrate the concepts of sustainable development into the curriculum it would be fantastic to have some brainpop movies to support this. Students need to understand that all aspects of the world are inter-related.
I think brainpop has done a good job on presenting a wide variety of topics in Natural systems – air, water, soil, food, etc. – that support all life. It would be a great next step to have an over-arching concept of sustainable development from Brainpop.

@tfrench, love this! Especially modeling the ideas of interrelationships and systems thinking. These overarching concepts are hard for young children to understand. However, both the topic pages on “energy sources” and “reduce, reuse, recycle” on BPjr do address some elements of the broader sustainability theme. Thanks for taking the time to write this suggestion. I’ll pass it on to the developers for sure!
