    “Gamification will transform every organization, from the world’s biggest brands to tech startups and governments,” said Gabe Zichermann, founder of Gamification Co. and chair of the Gamification Summit. “Teaching kids to read, rehabilitating people with injuries, improving lifestyles, securing our borders – all this is happening today with the power of gamification…”

    Gamificationsummit.com noted on their site, “Traditional education already has many game mechanics at play: scores give points for academic achievement, students level-up through grade levels, finals represent a stressful boss level of all you’ve learned so far. The problem is that so far, the game has been designed poorly…”
