Build-A-Body Strategies for Younger Students
Where does my food go? What do my bones look like? How does my heart work? Build-A-Body connects to the fascination young children have with their bodies. Encourage students to relate the picture on the interactive’s screen to their own anatomy. As students watch the heart beat, guide students to listen to and feel their own heartbeat; as they see the bones, have them feel the contours of their bones; as they watch the lungs, have them observe the rise and fall of their chests.
