Filament Games Presents: Crazy Plant Shop Science Game

From Filament Games: In the Crazy Plant Shop science game, the player is the proprietor of a plant shop that sells strange and exotic plants. The player receives orders from customers which must be met by the end of the turn by breeding new plants in “Breeding Pots,” and making Punett square breeding selections to create the best plants in town. After a turn, the player can use their hard-earned plant points to invest in new breeds and expand their shop’s features. Along the way, students learn core concepts in plant genetics.

Dr. Matthew Marino (Washington State University) is bringing his expertise in special education and technology to game design by helping integrate Universal Design for Learning features throughout game play.
