Why is there no sound when the movie plays?

First, make sure the screen-rotate lock switch on the side is not engaged. This can act as a mute for some apps. Make sure your volume is up as well. If that doesn't work, double tap the home button to bring up the task bar. Swipe to the right and you should see a speaker icon all the way on the left side. Tap that icon to unmute the system sounds and you should be good to go. Then tap the button again to return to the home screen. If these do not help, try uninstalling the app, hard-rebooting your device, and reinstalling the app to see if that fixes the issue. If not, email us at appsupport@brainpop.com.
