Press Release: Free Earth Awareness Resources
BrainPOP Celebrates Earth Day All Month With Free, Animated Movies About the Environment - Especially for Kids!

New York, April 1 – BrainPOP, the award-winning developer of web-delivered, animated educational content for grades K-8, will offer more than a dozen of its short movies free of charge all month in honor of Earth Day (April 22).

Throughout the month, educators and kids themselves are invited to visit a special mini-site at www.brainpop.com/spotlight/earthawareness for a selection of complimentary BrainPOP movies covering a range of environment-related topics. The mini-site tackles all kinds of things kids are curious about, from global warming, recycling and air pollution to the atmosphere, fossil fuels, the Ice Age and more! BrainPOP’s iconic robot, Moby, and his teen friend, Tim, star in the movies, which underscore the importance of environmental awareness and explain the impact humans have on the planet. Using humor, vibrant Flash animation and a unique voice, the movies reach children with varied learning styles on a whole new level.

The environment mini-site will be available until April 30, but five-day trial subscriptions – which provide access to the entire suite of BrainPOP resources – are always available at www.brainpop.com. Sign up and explore BrainPOP Jr. (K-3), BrainPOP, and BrainPOP Español. Call 866.54.BRAIN or email info@brainpop.com for more information.
