Press Release: Free Women's History Spotlight
BrainPOP Offers Free Movies for Kids in Honor of Women's History Month

New York, March 1 – More than a dozen kid-friendly, animated movies spotlighting pioneering women, their struggles and their accomplishments are available free of charge at BrainPOP (www.brainpop.com), the award-winning producer of web-delivered, educational content for children in grades K-8.

Until the end of March, teachers, parents and kids themselves can head to BrainPOP's Spotlight: Women's History for complimentary BrainPOP movies that profile famous women from Cleopatra, Amelia Earhart and Marie Curie to Pocahontas, Helen Keller and Oprah Winfrey. Topics such as feminism and women’s suffrage are also covered. The movies all feature BrainPOP’s beloved orange robot, Moby, and his knowledgeable teen friend Tim, who team up to guide young viewers through this exploration of history. With their clever writing, vibrant animation and unique voice, the movies reach children on a whole new level.
