We the People of the United States...In this BrainPOP movie, Tim and Moby unpack the meaning behind the U.S. Constitution! You’ll learn about the founding fathers’ plan for the U.S. government as well as the seven principles on which the Constitution is based. You’ll also learn about popular sovereignty, federalism, individual rights, and how the writers of the Constitution managed to write a document that would still hold sway more than 200 years later. Discover why republicanism has nothing to do with modern-day political parties and how powers are shared between the states and the nation, as well as between the three branches of government. It’s not a perfect union, but we think they’ve done a pretty good job!
