Para athletes have a range of disabilities, and display their incredible talents in a range of sports: from sled hockey and wheelchair curling at the Winter Games, to swimming and volleyball at the Summer Games. The Paralympics began after World War II, as an archery competition for veterans with spinal cord injuries. Now, it includes thousands of competitors from more than 100 countries. In anticipation of the upcoming Games, Nat interviews two members of the American team: Dan Cnossen is a biathlete and cross-country skier who won six medals at the 2018 Games\u2014one gold, four silver, and one bronze\u2014after serving as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy SEALS. Sam Bosco is a cyclist who earned two bronze medals at the 2016 Games.
