Friday, July 25th, 2008

Trying to find a way to fund a BrainPOP or BrainPOP Jr. subscription for your classroom, school, or district? I’m in the process of collecting ideas and resources to help educators get BrainPOP subscriptions. Do you have a subscription to BrainPOP? How did you fund BrainPOP at your school? Please post your stories and tips in the comments below! I will compile all grant resources into a new page to feature on BrainPOP Educators so everyone can benefit.

NECC Feedback

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Look familiar? If you were at NECC, you probably saw what we refer to as Giant Moby hanging high above our BrainPOP booth. We were pretty excited about our booth set up this year, but would love to hear what you thought of it! Please post comments of your BrainPOP booth experience! We love feedback!

And just for fun, I’m including a behind the scenes shot of the making of Giant Moby!

What Happens In Texas…

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

That’s right! Your eyes are not deceiving you! NECC was a huge success and involved our very own Moby riding a mechanical bull! We had such a great time meeting educators from all over the world and sharing ideas at our events (which I will be posting here and in upcoming newsletters). For now, you’ll find our handouts from NECC in the Conference Materials section of our Professional Development page of BrainPOP Educators!

I was especially excited about the ideas that got bounced back and forth during the BrainPOP and BrainPOP Jr. workshops. It just made me that much more excited about this idea of building a community of BrainPOP users, so let’s hear it! Jump in and share the ways that you love using BrainPOP with your students! Post your comments here!
