Wednesday, January 23rd at 3:30 PM ET- Google This: BrainPOP and Google Apps for Education Explore BrainPOP’s integration with Google Application for Education and the Google Chrome web application. Andrew Gardner, BrainPOP Educators Senior Manager, will discuss the benefits of integrating Google and BrainPOP, including single sign-on, the ability to collect quiz score data directly into a spreadsheet, and more.

Heading to the Google Apps for Education California Summit in Santa Clara?  So are we!  Our very own Andrew Gardner, Senior Manager of BrainPOP Educators, will be there to join in the fun today and tomorrow.  If you are one of the lucky ones to be attending this event, be sure to visit the Demo Slam this afternoon from 4:30-5:30.  Andrew will be demonstrating BrainPOP’s seamless integration with GAFE.  With the opportunity to learn about single sign-on and automatic quiz score collection, this session is one you won’t want to miss.  

We’re excited about the ability for users of BrainPOP and Google Apps to connect the services. By doing so, everyone benefits from the ease of single sign on (sso) and the ability to send quiz scores directly to a Google spreadsheet. It was a great week for BrainPOP and Google.  We were proud sponsors of the first annual New York/New Jersey Google Summit a 2 day conference about all things Google in Education.   There was a wide variety of sessions from basic overviews of Google Apps for Education, to complex hackathons exploring the ins and outs of scripting! We met many innovative and thoughtful teachers who were excited to learn about the BrainPOP Chrome app, and the integration between Google Apps for Education and BrainPOP.  Congratulations to Angela Helzer, (pictured) from Curtis HighSchool, the lucky winner of a one year combo subscription for  BrainPOP, BrainPOP Jr and BrainPOP Espanol.  In the spirit of the paper free nature of the Google summit, Angela received a virtual certificate from BrainPOP Educator Andrew Gardner!
