Every BrainPOP Jr. topic starts the same way: the whole class watches one movie. Whether in a kindergarten or third-grade classroom, students join the lesson with different reading abilities—yet they all experience the same story, the same characters, and the same shared entry point into a new concept.


That shared moment has always been the starting point. This fall, we are making it easier for every student to turn that shared knowledge into deep and active understanding.


With our latest updates, learning a new concept becomes even more accessible for multilingual students, while active participation opens up for every child—giving quiet learners and confident hand-raisers an equal opportunity to shine.


Every BrainPOP Jr. movie is now in Spanish


Same characters. Same stories. Now, an entry point every learner can reach.

For young Spanish-speaking learners, grasping a brand-new concept while learning a new language can feel overwhelming.


That’s why every BrainPOP Jr. movie will have the option to play with Spanish audio and subtitles!



Students can first build foundational knowledge in the language they think in, then jump into English for practice and discussion. The quizzes and other learning activities, as well as Annie's on-screen questions, stay in English on purpose—so Spanish gets students to the starting line, and then they practice what they learned in English alongside their peers.


What students get:

  • Every movie with Spanish audio and subtitles alongside English practice

  • The same characters and stories, met in the language they think in first

  • The background knowledge in a language they can understand to support vocabulary development in English
