Tim, Annie, Moby, and the magic of movies

At the heart of BrainPOP learning experiences are engaging, animated films that turn complex ideas into kid-friendly explorations.

Relatable characters, like the orange robot Moby and his pals Tim and Annie, guide kids through humorous stories that teach topics in social studies, science, math, ELA, and more—allowing them to feel connected to their learning, gain key knowledge that’ll help them in school (and beyond), and laugh (and laugh and laugh).

Animated movies—with a real-life impact

Movies

Easy/Hard Quiz

With multiple choice quizzes connected to the movie, kids can practice and apply their newfound knowledge in a low-stakes way—while also giving you a baseline understanding of how much they’re learning.

WHY IT WORKS

The learning science behind our fun and games

While it may seem like fun and games, everything on BrainPOP is rooted in research and carefully constructed to teach kids the way they learn best.

For example: research shows that stories make abstract or complex concepts easier to digest by providing context and making them relatable to personable experiences. That’s why BrainPOP’s animation and characters are so effective: they create a visually engaging and relatable learning environment that caters to kids’ unique needs and help them confidently understand intimidating topics.
